This month, we’re proud to highlight Steve Schulz, a TE Kitter at our Monroe HQ location, who has dedicated an impressive 29 years to our team. Steve’s skills and commitment to his craft has cemented him as a valuable member of our team for nearly three decades!
When asked about his long-standing dedication to his craft, Steve credits his passion for investigation and figuring out precise solutions for each project, including heading the effort that established bolt kits for trucks. Steve also enjoyed the time he spent working under the guidance of Bill Rufi, where he had the opportunity to work on a variety of custom projects that utilized his unique skill set.
Outside of his professional life, Steve has a penchant for assembling model cars and collecting farm tractors. He has spent 36 years exploring these hobbies, and is currently working on a replica of the South Dakota truck he recently worked on!
He creates each part of the replica models, except the cab and the hood, even molding his own miniature tires– so remarkable! Steve’s attention to detail is incredible, and his commitment to his craft is evident both in and out of the workplace. Steve even says that he is booked with orders for the next three years– an awesome testament to his talent.
In addition to work and his many hobbies, Steve shares his time as a High School Sunday School Teacher, working with the teens at his church. We extend our gratitude to Steve for being an important member of our team for the past 29 years! He is an inspiration to us all, and we can’t wait to see what else he works on in the future!
