Our Monroe, WI team members pulled together our first ever annual Chili Cookoff! It was an awesome day of trying so many varieties of chili and learning about the recipes our team member’s families hold dear. It was a tough competition, as each chili was delicious in its own way.
The Winners
The 2022 Monroe Chili Cookoff winners are as follows:
- Bill Bredson – Grand Champion for his “Mystery Meat” special with ground beef at a medium-hot spice level
- Brian Wampler – 2nd Place for his “Chili Ray Cyrus” special with ground beef and pork at a mild spice level
- Kendall Jones – 3rd Place for his “Jones Delight” special with ground beef and a medium spice level

A Special Thanks
We would like to extend a special thank you to Bridget Manthey who pulled this whole event together. It was such a success and we can’t wait until next year’s event. A big thank you to Jason Hintz and his team for setting up the eating room and ensuring the 18 crock pots were safe to plug in and not burn down the space! Another big thank you to Jim Rohde and Matt Woodward for staying after the event to clean up, break down and get leftovers into the breakroom.
This was a special event that demonstrated the culinary skills of many of our team members. Congratulations to all involved!
