Four members of the Monroe Truck Equipment team recently participated in the “Little Golf” and Grill event at Swissland Miniature Golf in New Glarus, WI. 2021 is the 28th year of this event in support of the Monroe Clinic’s Hospice Home and Hospice Services. This year alone, the event raised over $60,000.
This year was the first that Monroe team members participated in the event. In years prior, the team has made donations without joining in on the festivities. Four Monroe Truck Equipment team members from our Monroe location participated. Thank you these team members for representing Monroe Truck Equipment:
- Kyle Schultz, Junior Industrial Engineer
- Bridget Manthey, HR Coordinator
- Kathy Ryan, Corporate HR Manager
- Scott Sigafus, Snow & Ice Warehouse Manager
This event continues today thanks to the efforts of Hans Lenzlinger, a New Glarus community staple and former owner of The New Glarus Hotel and his daughter, Briana, of New Glarus, Jane Sybers, executive Director of Monroe Clinic & Hospital Foundation, and the entire Dinner & A Little Golf Planning Committee. The fundraiser consisted of an evening of mini golf, followed by a delicious dinner. The event has raised over $520,000 in the last 27 years.
Monroe Truck Equipment continues to come together in support of one another, and our community. With our region safely reopening, we look forward to bringing community members together in support of amazing causes. We encourage all team members to contact any member of the leadership team with ideas for causes you support.
